§ Miss Margaret JacksonMr. Potter's case has not been referred to my Department on disciplinary grounds. The Department has been considering a recommendation from the London borough of Hillingdon that he be determined unsuitable for further employment as a qualified teacher on the ground that he has failed to demonstrate his practical proficiency as a teacher. Representations were received from six individuals or groups, apart from the teacher himself, including my hon. Friend the Member for Ealing, Southall (Mr. Bidwell) and other110W hon. Members. Mr. Potter's probation has been extended.
