§ 11. Miss Boothroydasked the Secretary of State for Trade what recent representations he has received about the implementation of the code of conduct on employment practices for firms with South African subsidiaries.
§ Mr. DellThe White Paper, published on 25th May, took into account views expressed to us by the TUC, CBI and concerned organisations. The reports which companies have been asked to publish by 30th September will show the extent of implementation and the Government will be assessing the reports in due course.
