§ 15. Mr. Rookerasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he had yet allocated any expenditure to the Birmingham partnership area under the land reclamation scheme.
§ Mr. Freeson£1,228,000 has been allocated for 1978–79. Additional funds will be made available following designation of inner Birmingham as a derelict land clearance area. We have asked the city and county councils to submit bids for additional expenditure as soon as possible.
