Mr. Alan WilliamsYes. The centre provides a good deal of assistance to the motor industry in a number of ways. For example, representatives of the motor industry have emphasised to us the value of its rapid provision of statistical information on vehicle sales; this greatly assists their own marketing and production planning.
As a further example, the centre has assisted manufacturers in organising recall campaigns for safety reasons.
