Mr. Wm. Rossasked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will list in the Official Report the present administrative and other functions of the six geographical counties in Northern Ireland.
§ Mr. MasonCounties are the basis for the appointment of lords lieutenant, the administration of the courts, the agricultural executive offices, the organisation of the voluntary savings movement and the method of keeping records in the Land Registry. In every case except that of the agriculture executive offices the term "county" includes the former county borough. A number of nongovernmental bodies are also organised on a county basis.
