§ Mr. Kilfedderasked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will publish a table which breaks down the figures in the Public Expenditure Plans 1978–79 to 1981–82 so as to indicate the amount attributable to primary, secondary and further education, and university education and the Ulster College, but excluding students' grants and scholarships.
§ Mr. ConcannonThe following amounts underlie the Northern Ireland totals for education, libraries and the arts which were set out in "The Government's Expenditure Plans, 1978–79 to 1981–82" (Cmnd. 7049-II). The figures, which are in £ millions at 1977 survey prices, cover both current and capital expenditure, and exclude school meals, milk and transport, and scholarships and other grants to students.
