HC Deb 31 July 1978 vol 955 c84W
Mr. Newens

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if any conditions have been imposed on the contract recently approved to supply Iran with CS gas grenades, cartridges and guns worth £100,000, to prevent their use against peaceful demonstrations or assemblies.

Mr. Judd

It has been the policy of successive Governments not to comment on details of individual defence sales.
