§ Mr. Powellasked the Secretary of State for Social Services when the office of Population Censuses and Surveys will issue the mid-year estimate of the population of New Commonwealth and Pakistan ethnic origin, issued last year on 10th May.
§ Mr. MoyleThe estimates of net migration for the year mid-1976 to mid-1977 are currently being finalised. It is hoped that an OPCS monitor giving the mid-1977 estimate of the population of New Commonwealth and Pakistani ethnic origin will be issued by the end of August.
