§ Mr. Robert SheldonThe following figures show the total foreign currency borrowing of central Government outstanding at the nearest dates for which figures are readily available. The figures comprise long-term borrowing from overseas governments and the Deutsche Bundesbank; borrowing from the IMF—other than within the gold tranche—and other overseas monetary authorities; borrowing under euro-dollar facilities and the sale of British Government foreign currency bonds.
