HC Deb 31 July 1978 vol 955 c63W
Mr. Litterick

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if she will review her decision not to provide finance for Fircroft College, Selly Oak, Birmingham, in view of the proposed sale of the college.

Mr. Oakes

My information is that there has been no decision by the trustees of Fircroft to sell the college. As I indicated to my hon. Friend in reply to his earlier Questions on 14th February and 18th April, a resumption of grant aid to the college can be decided only in the light of proposals for new long-term residential courses of adult education which the trustees, with whom alone the responsibility rests, have not yet been able to put to me.
