§ 25. Mr. Whitneyasked the Secretary of State for Trade in what respect Her Majesty's Government are prepared to move from their present position in the Common Fund negotiations.
§ Mr. DellI indicated some elements of flexibility in our position in my statement on 13th April at the Commonwealth ministerial meeting on the Common Fund, a copy of which is in the Library of the House. We will approach resumed negotiations in UNCTAD on that basis. The UNCTAD Secretary-General has now been invited to set a date—probably in November—for a further session of the Common Fund conference.
