HC Deb 31 July 1978 vol 955 c26W
Mr. Wigley

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will take steps to set up a Wales Office of the Charity Commission so that applications tendered in the Welsh language are not ignored.

Mr. Merlyn Rees

The Charity Commissioners tell me that they have arrangements for dealing with communications in Welsh, which so far as they know are satisfactory. If the hon. Member knows of any case in which difficulty has arisen, and will let me have details, I shall be glad to look into it.
