asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will make a statement on the changes he intends to make in the 11-plus transfer procedures in schools to correct the many anomalies in the current year's system.

Mr. Mason

A full review of the transfer procedure has been undertaken and it is hoped that the Department of Education for Northern Ireland will shortly be able to announce the changes for 1979.
