§ Mr. JohnThe total cost of running the Commission for Racial Equality from 13th June, 1977—when it came into full 839W operation—to 31st March, 1978 was £3,150,000. The approved estimates of expenditure of the Commission for Racial Equality for the financial year 1978–79 are £4,747,000.
