§ Mr. John GrantThe Act has led to a substantial advance, though there is still considerable progress to be made. Both the Government and the Equal Opportunities Commission keep the working of the legislation under continuous review. I have received some suggestions from other organisations for amendment of the Act but I think it is too soon to decide what amendments need to be made.
