§ Mr. Sproatasked the Secretary of State for Employment what estimate he has made of the cost in the latest 12 months for which figures are available of training persons through the training opportunities programme to be secretaries and typists.
§ Mr. GoldingI am informed by the Manpower Services Commission that during the financial year 1977–78 an estimated amount of £23,916,818 including allowances, training fees and an attribution of overheads incurred by the Manpower Services Commission was incurred on the training of secretaries and typists.
