§ Mr. Leeasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will institute a research project into the possibilities of soya bean cultivation and use in the United Kingdom.
§ Mr. StrangMy right hon. Friend the Minister has no such project in mind. Work supported by the Agricultural Research Council has established that climatic and other difficulties are likely to prevent cultivation on any significant scale in this country.
