§ Mr. Ralph Howellasked the Secretary of State for Transport what is the maximum rent which can be charged for a railwayman's tied cottage.
§ Mr. William Rodgers, pursuant to his reply [Official Report, 24th July 1978], gave the following information:
This will depend on the individual circumstances. The maximum recoverable rent is governed by the Rent Act 1977 or, in certain circumstances, by the employee's contract of employment.
