§ Mr. Alfred MorrisI regret that I know of no way of making a direct comparison between the two systems, which are dissimilar in many respects. For example, I understand that Motability's car leasing scheme is based on renewal of the car every three or four years and provides free maintenance and repairs, other than accident repairs. My hon. Friend may also like to be aware that Motability hopes to explore the possibility of offering hire purchase as an alternative to leasing.
