asked the Secretary of State for Trade if he will make a statement on the result of recent negotiations concerning landing rights of Concorde within the United States of America.

Under the SST noise regulations announced on 27th June, the United States Government will permit the 16 Concordes in the current production programme to operate to United States airports, although airport proprietors continue to have the right to limit or ban aircraft operations at their airports through reasonable, non-discriminatory noise rules.
