Mr. Christopher Price

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what is the revenue expenditure per head of the population for the Guys, Lewisham, King's and St. Thomas's Health Districts, respectively, of the Lambeth, Southwark and Lewisham Area Health Authority (Teaching).

Mr. Moyle

, pursuant to his reply [Official Report 18th July 1978], gave the following information:

The revenue expenditure per head of the catchment population of each of the four health districts in 1977–78 was Guy's £129, King's £105, St. Thomas's £133, Lewisham £92. These figures are affected by the costs of teaching and of regional and supra-regional services.
