§ Mr. Harry EwingThe National Health Service (Expenses in Attending Hospitals) (Scotland) Regulations 1974 provide that travelling expenses necessarily incurred by patients in attending hospital may be paid by the Health Service where payment of the expenses by the patient would cause hardship.
