§ Mr. Moonmanasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if she will publish in the Official Report details of expenditure on nursery school accommodation in the county of Essex compared with the rest of the United Kingdom.
§ Miss Margaret JacksonFrom 1974–75 to 1976–77 £153,000 was spent on nursery education in Essex, providing the equivalent of 210 full time places. Over the same period about 41,000 full-time places were provided in England and Wales, at a total cost of £35 millions.
