§ Miss Joan Lestorasked the Minister of Overseas Development what response she intends to make to the appeal by the International Red Cross for Southern Africa for May to October 1978.
§ Mrs. HartI propose to make a grant-in-aid of £500,000. Parliamentary approval to this service will he sought in a Supplementary Estimate for the Overseas Aid Vote. Pending that approval, the necessary expenditure will be met by repayable advances from the Contingencies Fund.
