HC Deb 18 July 1978 vol 954 cc175-6W
Mr. Park

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what will be the estimated cost to the revenue in a full year of the concessions for the benefit of small businesses.

Mr. Joel Barnett,

pursuant to the reply given by the Minister of State [Official Report, 13th July 1978], gave the following information:

The cost in a full year of the measures which are expected to be particularly helpful for small businesses is about £230 million. The benefit going to small businesses will be somewhat less than this.
