asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if she will list in the Official Report the schools in Stoke-on-Trent which have been replaced since 1945.

  • Milton First and Middle.
  • Boothem C.E.(C) First.
  • Heron Cross First and Middle.
  • Fenton Manor First.
  • Bradeley First.
  • Abbey Hulton Middle.

It is estimated that in the spring of 1975 the number of primary and secondary schools in England whose oldest teaching accommodation was built before 1903 was 8,130. The comparable figure for the period 1903 to 1918 was 2,060. No figures are available relating to 1900 and 1914.
