Mr. Wigley

asked the Secretary of State for Wales what applications have been made from Wales for assistance from the EEC regional regional development fund for the scheme under which the regional fund will pay 40 per cent. of the cost of projects for the development of the infrastructure.

None, because the proposed new fund regulation is not vet in operation.
