§ Mr. Weetchasked the Secretary of State for Employment how many jobs in the Ipswich employment area have been the subject of financial support by his Department and the Manpower Services Commission.
§ Mr. John Golding,pursuant to his reply [Official Report, 10th July 1978 Vol. 953, c. 380], gave the following information:
Over 2,400 people in the Ipswich area have been helped by the special employment measures introduced by the Government to alleviate the worst effects of the recession.
