§ Dr. M. S. Millerasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what increases are to be made to health authority 1978–79 cash limits as a consequence of the introduction of the 1½ per cent. surcharge on employers' national insurance contributions.
§ Mr. MoyleThe DHSS block 2 cash limit is being increased by £18.2 million of which £17.7 million is for regional health authorities and boards of governors which will be notified individually of the increases in their own cash limits. I understand that the companion amounts for Scotland and Wales are £2.6 million and £1.3 million respectively.
