§ Mr. EadieI am informed that the British Steel Corporation has always produced a high proportion of its own blast 565W furnace coke requirements. The recession in the iron and steel industry has reduced the corporation's requirement for coke from both its own and National Smokeless Fuels coke ovens. However, BSC will take 1¼ million tonnes of coke from NSF over the next five years.
