Friend has recently received a number of inquiries about the announcement of the Government's response to the report: I cannot yet add to the answer given on 12th June to the hon. Member for Worcestershire, South (Mr. Spicer) when he was told that it was hoped to announce the proposals 649W for the implementation of the report's recommendations before the summer adjournment.
