§ Mr. David Huntasked the Secretary of State for the Environment when the scheme for grants to assist in the insulation of private homes will come into effect.
§ Mr. ArmstrongThe timetable for implementation of the scheme will depend on the speed of the Home Insulation Bill's passage through Parliament. I hope that it will receive Royal Assent before the Summer Recess. Grants should then be available from local authorities in the autumn.
