§ Mr. WellbelovedThe change removes the disparity between the standard on entry and that which is applied to serving aircrew, a number of whom already spectacles. The acceptability of candidates wearing corrective lenses is subject to their ability to meet visual acuity standards and to certain other ophthalmic conditions.
