§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for Industry whether he will give 324W an assurance that, on the Government implementing the Boyle Report on top salaries so far as it affects the chairmen of nationalised industries fully within his ministerial responsibilities or any amended form of this report, other staff and employees within these nationalised industries will be able to claim their same relative pay rates on a comparative basis and maintain their differentials irrespective of the 10 per cent. or any other amended form of wage and salary restraint.
§ Mr. Les HuckfieldThe Boyle report covers only the four groups within its standing remit, and it would be inappropriate to extend its recommendations further.
