§ Mr. GoldingI am informed by the Manpower Services Commission that it has no plans at the present time to establish a skillcentre in Ormskirk. The commission has recently undertaken a review of the training facilities in the area, and it is satisfied that the training needs can be met by the existing skillcentres at Aintree, Kirkby and St. Helens. In addition, the new skillcentre at Preston will help to meet the needs of the Ormskirk area.
