§ Mr. JohnThe Government believe that a new nationality law, on which they have published a Green Paper, would provide a more rational basis for immigration control. Meanwhile, the working of the present immigration law is kept under continuing review and changes in the immigration rules and in operational procedure are introduced as necessary.
