§ Mr.HoramThe chairman of the Health and Safety Commission has told us that he expects to forward proposals for the tanker labelling regulations shortly and that work on the comprehensive general regulations is advancing.
§ 42. Mr. Flanneryasked the Secretary of State for Transport if he has any plans to divert from road to rail the carriage of dangerous substances.
§ Mr.HoramIt is Government policy to encourage industry, by financial and other means, to make greater use of rail transport, both for dangerous goods and freight generally, wherever it is sensible to do so on economic and social grounds.
