What would be the value of a pound sterling in February 1974 in today's currency.

In May 1978, the latest date for which information is available, it is estimated that the sum of £1.92 had purchasing power equivalent to that of £1 in February 1974. This estimate is based on the change in the General Index of Retail Prices.
