§ Mr. Merlyn ReesNo. Prison visitors are voluntary workers appointed by the Home Office to befriend inmates assigned to them by governors. Their work, which attracts neither payment nor publicity, is appreciated by both prisoners and management. I know of no reason for establishing an inquiry.
