§ Mr. Georgeasked the Minister of Overseas Development what mechanisms she has at her disposal to ensure that technical co-operation with Paraguay intended to help small cultivators and livestock farmers in fact benefits such people.
§ Mrs. HartIn addition to the regular reports which I receive from our technical co-operation officers in Paraguay, a number of visits have been made by my officers and advisers in order to monitor progress. One of the technical cooperation officers is engaged whole time in agricultural extension work, to help explain the application of research work to the small cultivator. As is normal, our Embassy is actively engaged in administering the programme.
