Mr. Arthur Lewis

asked the Lord President of the Council why the Government will not implement the Boyle Report so far as permitting Members to retire before the age of 65 years as with all other public servants.

I have nothing to add to the reply that I gave to my hon. Friend on 26th October 1977.—[Vol. 986, c. 679.] This is a matter which the House as a whole will wish to discuss at a suitable opportunity.
