Mr. Hayhoe

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he would object to an amendment being made to the Greater London Development Plan to incorporate the Layfield Report's recommendation on the need to improve conditions in the M4-A4 corridor in the Chiswick area.

The Greater London Development Plan is the Greater London Council's Structure Plan. It is for the council to decide whether or not it wishes to make any alterations.
