§ Mr. MoyleNo. Representatives of district councils within non-metropolitan counties are nominated for appointment to area health authorities by county associations of district councils. Brentwood is a non-metropolitan district council whose boundaries are situated within the territory of the Essex Area Health Authority. The North-East Thames Regional Health Authority has appointed a councillor from Brentwood to the Essex Area Authority; it has also appointed three Brentwood residents to the adjacent Barking and Havering Area Authority.
