HC Deb 26 January 1978 vol 942 c679W
Mr. Wrigglesworth

asked the Lord Advocate when his Department's banking business was last put out to competitive tender.

The Lord Advocate

The bulk of my Department's banking business is conducted through the Paymaster-General's Office. Banking arrangements are made locally by procurators fiscal in every part of Scotland to suit their particular circumstances. All such arrangements are subject to review, but formal competitive tenders are not sought.
