Her Majesty's Government regard the limitation of noxious emissions from aircraft as a matter to be dealt with internationally. To this end, we are working with other nations to secure agreement within ICAO on the measures to be adopted. My Department plays an active part in the studies and maintains close and continuous consultation with the United Kingdom manufacturers of aeroengines and with the manufacturers and operators of aircraft.
