§ Mr. McCrindleasked the Secretary of State for Social Services (1) if he has studied the report of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists on the possible effect of smoking on women over 35 years who are taking the contraceptive pill; if he has decided to make observations on the report; and if he will make a statement;
(2) if he plans to issue a circular to area health authorities on the report of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynæcologists on smoking among women over 35 years who are taking the contraceptive pill, recommending advice to such women through their general practitioners; and if he will make a statement.
