§ Mr. Dodsworthasked the Secretary of State for Transport what consideration is 242W being given to the alternative proposals for the M25 Hunton Bridge to the M1, forwarded by the Midland Motorway Action Group as part of its case at the M1 inquiry at Watford in 1976.
§ Mr. HoramThe inspector's report of the inquiry into the proposed widening of the M1 is being considered by my right hon. Friends the Secretaries of State for Transport and for the Environment, and it would not therefore be appropriate for me to comment on the proposal at this stage.
