§ Mr. Smallasked the Secretary of State for Scotland how he proposes to meet expenditure incurred by his Department as a result of the fire emergency.
§ Mr. MillanParliamentary approval to this new service will be sought in a Supplementary Estimate, for the Law, Order and Protective Services (SHHD) Vote. Pending that approval, the necessary expenditure will be met by repayable advances from the Contingencies Fund.
