§ Mr. Adleyasked the Secretary of State for Trade (1) if he remains satisfied with the activities of the British Tourist Authority; and, if not, why not;
(2) in what way he believes that the changes to the constitution of the British Tourist Authority, as proposed in the Scotland Bill, will improve the marketing and managerial work of that body;
(3) what precise skill, knowledge or experience will be required of the new appointees to the board of the British Tourist Authority if the proposals contained in the Scotland Bill which affect the British Tourist Authority are implemented.

Yes. The proposals for membership of the Authority in the Bill are designed to reflect the new constitutional situation. Any independent member will be chosen for his knowledge and experience of tourism business in particular and public affairs in general.
