§ Mr. Barry JonesDiscretionary arrangements for the use of NHS funds for joint financing were introduced in June 1977 by Circular WHC(77)21. This also invited authorities to establish, in the light of their particular local needs, suitable liaison and planning machinery 67W to secure effective joint planning of services.
